The 2003 Taxiway & Turnaround Extension Project included the paving of both turnaround extensions (50’ x 80’) located at the north and south ends of the main runway. The project also included the paving of a new taxiway from the apron heading west and north to connect to the northwest t-hangar. The Contractor on the project was Wicks Construction, Inc. of Decorah, Iowa and Reding’s Gravel and Excavating of Algona was a sub-contractor. Wicks Construction’s bid on the project was $169,315.50. Federal funding covered 90% of the cost of the project.
