Below you will find the names and numbers of all of the City’s inspectors.  Please contact the appropriate inspector at least 24 hours prior to any needed inspection.

Please keep in mind that it is a Municipal Infraction to begin any new construction or remodeling prior to obtaining a building permit.  It is also a Municipal Infraction to occupy any new or rehabbed building prior to obtaining a certificate of occupancy permit.

MUNICIPAL INFRACTION AS STATED IN THE CITY CODE CHAPTER 1.12.030

UNLESS ANOTHER CIVIL PENALTY IS PROVIDED FOR SPECIFIC OFFENSES ELSEWHERE IN THIS CODE, A MUNICIPAL INFRACTION IS A CIVIL OFFENSE PUNISHABLE AS PROVIDED IN THE FOLLOWING SCHEDULE OF CIVIL PENALTIES:

SCHEDULE OF CIVIL PENALTIES

FIRST OFFENSE - PENALTY OF NOT MORE THEN $750.00
EACH REPEAT OFFENSE - PENALTY OF NOT MORE THEN $1,000.00

EACH DAY THAT A MUNICIPAL INFRACTION OCCURS AND/OR IS PERMITTED TO EXIST CONSTITUTES A SEPARATE (REPEAT) OFFENSE. (Ord. 910, 11, 2003)
