Right of Way Permits & Inspections
Property owners and contractors are required to obtain a
Right of Way Permit prior to any work being done within the City’s right of way. As a rule of thumb the City’s right of way generally runs from the back of sidewalk to back of sidewalk. Right of way permits are at no cost to the property/contractor and allow the City to have input on the requested improvements prior to any work being done as to avoid possible future re-work for non-code compliance
ANY WORK DONE IN THE RIGHT OF WAY PRIOR TO OBTAINING A RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT FROM THE CITY IS SUBJECT TO REMOVAL AT THE COST OF THE CONTRACTOR.
